Paris Saint-Germain s Edinson Cavani has directly played down rumours linking him with a return to Napoli.
The 31-year-old spent three seasons, from 2010 to 2013, in Naples, and the Italian side enjoyed stellar performances from him as he scored a total of 104 goals in 138 appearances for them in that time. However, he has now been a PSG player for over five years and despite stories of a rift with Brazilian star Neymar, he doesn t seem to be contemplating departure just yet.
Recently, reports emerged about his potential return to the San Paolo Stadium, but as reported by Sky Sports, the striker has dismissed them when asked about it on international duty, by apparently telling the journalists present that they talk too much. He did, though, say that he loved the people of Naples and expressed satisfaction with visiting the city when the two sides met in the Champions League this season. In the end, he wished them all the best.
